The company NIV (Nouvelle Industrie du Vêtement) was first created in 1966 by the KUPERMAN family in Lyon. The store can still be found in it’s original location on Pierre Corneille Road located in the well-known wholesale district of Lyon.

In the year 2000, the company was acquired by the BAYSAL family who knew how to modernize and expand the company in the ready-to-wear feminine market.

For more than 50 years, NIV has perfected a simple concept in order to become one of the leaders in the market with a revenue of 7 millions euros in 2018 including 15% in export.
